The 2011 World Series of Poker Player of the Year is powered by BLUFF Magazine. A total of 62 WSOP and WSOP E bracelet events are eligible for gaining points under the improved scoring system. All open bracelet events count towards the POY standings but the Ladies Championship, Seniors Championship and Casino Employees event are not included, so thereis ZERO point awarded for the following events:

Introduction

Texas  Hold’em is the most popular poker variation. Vast popularity of the game is explained by the fact that  learning Hold’em is extremely easy. Another reason is that it’s extremely difficult to master the game and hence the army of newcomers “feeds” good and great Hold’em players.
